COVID-19 Update

We here at Rackhams Building Supplies have been working very hard to get back to some form of normality. We have therefore implemented the following:

The one way system is suspended for the interim. HOWEVER, we ask that all customers and visitors respect the two metre social distancing rules  inside the shop wear a face covering FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION.

In spite of the change to Government guidelines from 19th July 2021, we all have a responsibility to protect ourselves as well as others!

​

Please enter via the Exchange street if at all possible.

​

Please wear your face mask in store, ( We understand that there are some of our customers who may be exempt from this)

​

Please use the hand sanitizer provided free as you enter our store and at the many stations throughout.

​

Please ensure you maintain a safe distance from others

​

Exit via are rear wood store doors.

​

As of this update and until further notice, our opening hours are as follow:

​

Monday 08:00 - 17.00

Tuesday 08:00 - 17.00

Wednesday 08:00 - 17:00

Thursday - 08:00 - 17:00

Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Saturday 08:00 - 15:00

Deliveries by request and demand. Please bear with us as the increase in demand for deliveries may mean that we have to schedule at later times and days.

​

As you may have seen or read in the media,  availability and supply of some items are limited and deliveries are taking longer than usual. We are endeavoring to maintain stocks from our usual suppliers or by reaching out to alternative suppliers to  maintain best possible service.
